01-November-2009
‘Nimble donates their products and skills to assist with the upgrade of the ‘Riding for Disabled’ facility in Marloos Lagoon with assistance from Bees Creek Mini Diggers and Palmerston Redi-mix Concrete’.
The Riding for Disabled makeover is a Palmerston Regional Business Association (PRBA) project, spear-headed by Wayne Zerbe. The mission was to revamp Riding for Disabled facilities and assist them get back on their feet. See www.prba.com.au for complete details.
More than $250,000 worth of work was completed in the few months prior to November 2009 with requests for assistance from Government and local Businesses. Works ranged from new car park facility, to paving and awnings, to makeovers of landscaping and dressage arena. Nimble’s value of the Post & Rail Fence $8,250 for 50LM installed, or $87/LM for supply only. Nimble fitted this fencing in between jobs over one weekend.
‘The entrance is all about first impressions and it is excellent that the white Duralok Post & Rail fence is a perfect fit with a country style property with horses. We like the fact that it looks good now and will stay looking good, without fear of white ants, rust or the need for repainting for the next 20 years. This is a gift that indirectly will save some more money from their maintenance budget in the future’, says a director of Nimble Homes.
Duralok Fencing is a product of Duralok P/L a WA Company with specialised manufactured facilities in China. The fencing comes with a 20 year warranty against fading and sun damage, when installed by a certified installer. Nimble Homes is the Northern Territory supplier & trainer to other Retailers and Fencing Contractors in the NT and Kimberley area.
We would also like to thank personally Jeff of Bees Creek mini-diggers for digging our holes and Nick Halekos of Palmerston Redi-Mix for the supply of concrete. Both also donated to assist this charity.
