How Nimble came about
Nimble Homes is a company incorporated in the NT that set up their factory in September 2008. The company began as a partnership of local expertise and construction techniques perfected in the sister factory in Perth.

Nimble Homes was a private company established by director Nick Hanigan and owner Marilynne Paspaley of Civic North Pty Ltd and Kent Corporation Pty Ltds owner Steve Suttie and General Manager Troy Miller. The parties met working in the town of Kununurra in October 2007.
Nimble Homes the company was established because we agreed:
- a better way of providing residential buildings to remote northern Australia needed to be found
- economies of production can deliver finer quality homes for the same or lower price points in these targeted regional centres
- remote NT and Kimberley would be our area of focus, delivering special purpose projects (such as workers camps) on a case by case basis
Marilynne Paspaley and her son Nick Hanigan are locals to the Kimberley and NT, having made significant contributions to the industries of Pearling and Construction in the past 15 year. Together with the Civic North team, Marilynne & Nick completed 150 rooms in the Kimberley between 2006 & 2009. Marilynne is a Director of Paspaley Pearling Co, a company that has invested in the top end for the past 60 years. Nick holds post graduate degrees (BCom, Mast Prop Dev & GAICD) and is Director and Business Manager of Nimble Homes.
Steve Suttie and Troy Miller have worked together in Kent Corporation for over 10 years; Steve Suttie has been a builder for the past 30 years and was the Construction Manager & Registered Builder in the formative years of Fleetwood Home's park home construction. Later Steve moved on to continue to build Park Homes and Cabins through remote WA. In 2010 after factory setup, Steve & Troy have returned to Perth to focus on supply from their company hub in Perth.
Nimble Homes is a registered builder in NT and WA and is now Top End owned. We construct accommodation that is designed to withstand the tropical extremes of the North. Nimble Home's specialty is remote building.
